Home visits are reserved for patients who are housebound, bed-bound, terminally ill or those whose condition will deteriorate with travel.
The best care can often be given at the surgery, but If you still think you need a home visit telephone the surgery preferably before 10:30am. The receptionist will need to take some details about what is wrong so that more urgent calls can be given priority.
The request will be passed to the Duty Doctor and they will decide whether the visit is necessary.
Although we do not have a ‘catchment area,’ if you live further away from the practice, we may not be able to visit you.
